What
Integrations connect external systems to Nobi. Nourish is a master data integration. Master data integrations connect Nobi with the system your community already keeps its resident records in.
Resident information is entered once, in Nourish, and is sent to Nobi automatically. When a fall is closed in Nobi as an actual fall, Nobi adds it to the resident’s care record in Nourish.
Why
The resident list in Nobi matches Nourish. When a resident’s details or status change in Nourish, Nobi updates to match. Care staff maintain resident records in one place, which means less double work and fewer errors.
Falls confirmed by care staff reach the resident’s care record in Nourish straight away, with the context of the fall, without anyone entering them again.
1. What to set up before you start
- You need a Nourish Superuser to set up the integration in Nourish.
- Add the integration in Nobi. Nobi generates an integration token automatically.
- The token is pasted into the Nobi extension in Nourish. Nourish and Nobi use it to connect.
- Once the token is in place, the existing Nourish residents are mapped to Nobi.
Changes made in Nourish reach Nobi automatically. You can also click Synchronise on the integration page to update straight away.
2. What comes from Nourish
| Field in Nobi | What happens |
|---|---|
| Resident information: first name, last name, gender, date of birth | Imported from Nourish. |
| Resident status | A resident who is active in Nourish is active in Nobi. A resident who is suspended in Nourish, for example during a hospital stay, stays active in Nobi and keeps their housing unit. A resident who is archived in Nourish is archived in Nobi. |
The fields above are read only in Nobi. Changes are made in Nourish. Housing units, departments and everything else not listed above stay managed in Nobi.
3. What Nobi sends back
A fall is sent to Nourish once it is closed as an actual fall (resident unintentionally on the floor, or one of the community’s own fall causes) and the resident involved is chosen. Nourish receives when the fall started and was closed, the room, who claimed and closed it, how it was closed, the classification and the cause.
Sending falls can be switched on or off per community with Send confirmed fall escalations on the integration page.
4. What you complete yourself
- Link each resident to their housing unit in Nobi.
- Check smart monitoring and the privacy and image settings for each resident.
- Set up the escalation procedure.
