What
In Nobi, a “room” refers to a specific space within a housing unit. For example, a housing unit may include a bedroom, a living room, and a bathroom—each of these is considered a separate “room” in the Nobi system.
A Nobi light must be linked to a room to function properly. Setting up rooms within a housing unit helps keep your system organized and ensures that each light is correctly identified and managed.
Why
In the Nobi application, every light is paired with a room. You only need to create a room if you plan to add a light to it.
The setup process uses Bluetooth, so we strongly recommend completing this setup via the Nobi App on a mobile device. It is essential to be physically present in the room where the light is installed to ensure a proper Bluetooth connection.

To create a room and add a light, follow the detailed steps below.
Before you begin you will need the following:

- Press ✔ Link the light.

- Press Start link.

- Choose the Nobi light you wish to add. Typically, if standing directly under the light, it will be the available light with the strongest bluetooth signal.

- The light will begin to pair.

- Nobi will then verify that the light is successfully connected with an audio message and a green banner on the app.

You have now successfully created a room and added a light to that room. The light will be in Setup mode.
