Why can't I see the resident’s live view in the application?

If you can’t see a live (abstract) view of a resident’s housing unit, there are a few possible reasons:

  • The resident’s privacy settings may prevent you from viewing it.
  • Multi-person or Jack and Jill housing units default to the most restrictive privacy settings. If one resident in a multi-person housing unit has limited privacy settings, the live view may be unavailable.
  • Common areas are excluded from live view to protect everyone’s privacy. You can read more about housing unit types here.
  • Nobita lights do not support live view.
  • If a resident is in bed or not in the room, the live view is automatically disabled for privacy.

Any adjustment to privacy settings must only be made after obtaining the resident’s informed consent.
